Spring Breaker Game

When tasked with creating a game concept for the PINK Nation app coinciding with the brand’s spring break moment, I decided to put a new spin on the ever-addictive classic, brick breaker. I worked closely with the UX and web development teams to determine brick layouts, in-game messaging, bonuses and challenges. To create more buzz around the game and to incorporate marketing objectives, players were able to unlock exclusive offers by playing the game on designated days. I used retro, 8-bit inspired icons and backgrounds to give the game an arcade look and feel. These elements were translated into other brand pieces in this timeframe, including iron-on patches. Plus the concept leant itself to the perfect game name!
